My detector decided to mess with me today: the coin I found is actually a bit of plumbing hardware, the ring I found is, in fact, a copper coupler, the horse brass is–I think–just a bit of furniture or possible aerial bracket and the “coin spill” that made me actually cheer when I walked over it…turned out to be a bridle. Oh and there’s the button that if held it in the right light, reveals an M&S logo.
